We are preparing for an another exciting season at Chaires!  Spring Registration will open on December 14th and close January 10th so mark your calendars now. Be sure to register early (and tell your friends)!

The 2021 Spring Schedule has been released and can be accessed here. Please keep in mind, dates are subject to change but will be communicated.

The Little League Age Chart should be utilized when determining which division your child will play. This Little League standard is in place to ensure all players worldwide are on the same age level throughout the season.

The League Boundary Map will help determine whether or not your child is within the CCLL boundaries and is eligible to play at Chaires.

The CCLL Local League Rules provides answers to many questions broken down by divisions. 

Managers will be notified by January 15th if they have been assigned a team.  If you were not selected as a manager, we thank you for volunteering and hope you will consider assisting on your child's team as an assistant or team parent.

The Machine Pitch, Minors and Majors draft will be held on January 27th.  Team rosters will be entered into the Sports Signup Play System that night or the next day. You will be notified through the SPORTS SIGNUP PLAY app.  If you haven't downloaded the app please do so.  Communication from the league and your coaches will be sent through the app.  Please be sure and allow text messages if that is your primary mode of communication.

Managers will contact their team regarding pants, sock, and belt colors needed. Keep an eye out for the Dick's Sporting Goods Discount Day.

Practices will begin the week of Feb 1st.  There will be two practices a week for MP, Minors, and Majors until the season starts on March 1st when you will practice one day a week, typically on the weekend.  We will begin work on schedule immediately after teams have been selected.  This can be a very challenging process so be patient with us.  We do our best to be fair on days of the week, fields, etc.  We don't know for sure yet, but expect to have to travel once to an opposing league's park and possibly to play a game or two at Miccosukee field.

It is with great sadness that I now have to report that the 2020 Chaires-Capitola Little League Spring season has officially been canceled. Despite the Governor’s order to allow youth sports, the Leon County Commissioners have decided to stay with their original plan in Phase 2, which is not to open county parks to youth sports. Not knowing when the Governor will begin the Phase 3 reopening of Florida, the Chaires-Capitola Little League Board has decided to move forward with canceling the Spring season. We appreciate your patience in this process. I was certainly wrong. I thought we would play again and that our group of 12 year olds (including my son) had not played their last Little League game.  Due to the upfront costs of uniforms, equipment, and draft and evaluation materials, the Board has decided to offer a 20% refund of your registration.  However, we are asking that you please consider donating this refund amount to the League to use for future seasons and other improvements to the park.  If you require a refund, please contact us directly at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..  We can credit your account for the following season or give a credit or check refund. Those registered in the Seniors division will be able to play for free in the Fall because they are able to use the same uniforms.  We will credit all of the Seniors accounts. Once again, we are deeply sorry that we are not able to get back on the fields to complete the Spring season.  We were all really looking forward to it.  Be on the lookout for registration information for the Fall season starting in August.
